Why Get Organized Now?

Why Get Organized Now?

Your time, your relationships, your mental health, your spouse, your kids, your career, your hobbies?

When I work with clients, one of the first things I ask is WHY? What has inspired you to seek help getting your home organized now? Sometimes the why is a life event such as creating space for a new baby, moving, or creating a home office. But most often it’s that clients are simply overwhelmed with the day-to-day maintenance of their homes.

As a business owner, wife, and mom of two active boys (5 and 6). I understand the struggle of “juggling all life’s responsibilities”. I understand the stress of managing a career, along with the endless commitments to friends, family, my kids’ schedules, work, not to mention finding time for myself and my own hobbies.

And trust me, some of the clients I work with, make my schedule seem lite in comparison. Some seem to literally Do It All. And yet, I hear the same thing, time and time again. “I just can’t seem to keep my house in order”, “Despite my efforts, our house is always a disaster”,” I’m so embarrassed of the mess and it’s always a struggle”, “Our family arguments revolve around the lack of order in our house”.

I absolutely hate to hear client after client describe this situation in their home. That being said, of all the things that could be going on, I know without a doubt that I can help with this one. When I hear the exhaustion and frustration in a client’s voice, I love being able to assure them that there’s a straightforward solution to these struggles.

Something that people don’t often recognize is the amount of effort they put into their home and unfortunately, the people who put the most effort in are often the ones whose homes are in the worst shape.

I absolutely hate to see clients struggle with this cycle. I truly believe that everyone should have a home that feels like a sanctuary. A place that brings you happiness and supports you and your family’s lifestyle.

When organizing a home, we don’t just “purge” and “tidy”. We work with clients to understand their life, and really design organizing solutions to support their life. Through taking the time to understand personal habits, hobby’s, schedules, and who we’re designing for, we can create organizing solutions that function in a way that supports their lifestyle.

We focus not only on creating solutions that help clients maintain an organized and tidy home when we leave but one that is intuitive to accommodate a family’s life, can grow with it’s evolving needs and most importantly can easily be maintained day after day after day by all members of the household.

We think about how to get everyone involved in keeping a house, (yes, even kids). Even your messiest, most disorganized, most stubborn family member will surprise you when they have the tools to keep a tidy space.

I urge everyone who struggles with keeping their homes organized, free of clutter, tidy and in some shape that supports their life; reach out. We work in many different ways, from creating virtual plans for clients to organize and style their own homes, to all-inclusive in-home organizing and design services.

I started by saying that we always want to understand our clients why so we can deliver the best results. So let me share our why as a company. We believe people’s lives should be filled with the things, activities and people they love and their homes should support that. We do this job because we know organizing homes can change people’s lives, we witness it and we love being a part of that change.
